Fr. Raymond Gravel Needs our Prayers!
Father Raymond Gravel has been well known in Quebec for his dissident views as a Catholic priest. His views differ from the Holy Catholic Church on topics such as:
- abortion
- same-sex ‘marriage’
- homosexual priests
- married priests
- homosexuality
- women priests
- contraception
Fr. Gravel has also launched a $500,000 lawsuit against the Pro-Life website LifesiteNews which could shut it down.

What does devotion to the Mother of Sorrows have to do with Fr. Gravel and Spiritual Motherhood? We have all heard the saying “Hate the sin, love the sinner” and this is a perfect opportunity for us to begin to truly put this advice into practice.
“[T]he spirit of this beautiful devotion…produces in our minds an extreme tenderness towards our Blessed Lord…But out of this tenderness comes also a great hatred of sin. Devotion to our Ladys dolours is a great help both to acquiring the hatred of sin as a habit, and to meriting it as a grace.
We rise up from the contemplation of them with a yearning for the conversion of sinners.
And how far from Jesus are sinners, misbelievers, heathens! How far out of sight of Calvary have they wandered! How many in number, and in so many ways how dear, are the wanderers! How unfathomable a misery is sin! And to us what a misery those merry voices and bright faces that care not for the misery, but go singing on their way to a dark eternity, as though they were wending gallantly to a bridal feast!
Who can see so great a wretchedness, and not long to cure it?“

St. Therese of Lisieux“Let us live for souls, let us be apostles, let us save especially the souls of priests. …Let us pray, let us suffer for them, and, on the last day, Jesus will be grateful”
